![]() ![]() ![]() There are plenty of additions to the already broad-ranging game, and these extras give me another reason to boot up Skyrim: Special Edition once more. This isn’t the first time that someone’s made a Survival mod for Skyrim there’ve been a few created by the community, and it’s almost like Bethesda looked at the features of the popular Frostfall mod and built upon that. The cold is now a formidable foe, but things like hot soups restore your body temperature, and grant a bonus to warmth ratings. The addition of Fatigue will affect your magicka and the usefulness of potions, and different environments now take their toll on your character, just like in Zelda: Breath of the Wild. If you eat raw meat you could get food poisoning, which would be awful because I’ve not seen any loo rolls anywhere in Whiterun. Players will have to manage their Hunger levels, keep an eye on their stamina levels, and also watch food they eat. The Survival mode changes the game in a number of ways, all of which will further increase the challenge of the game’s trying Legendary difficulty. Survival Mode adds new gameplay features and challenges to change the world of Skyrim from a carefree jaunt and fantasy adventure setting into a land of unrelenting cold and harsh wilderness. Bethesda has announced in a new blog post that Skyrim will soon be getting an all-new Survival Mode, as part of the Skyrim Creation Club. ![]()
